"In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years". Abraham Lincoln

Tourists from around the world each year head to the beautiful island of Rhodes in Greece, a magnificent escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

It’s not a surprise with its 124 miles of coastline, silk-sandy beaches and beautiful landscape with characteristic pine and cypress trees.

This island is packed with golden beaches, a warm sea above 20 degrees from May to November, historic sightseeing, and plenty of resorts to help you to unwind and enjoy some first rate Greek hospitality.

If you are not really a beach person you may consider visiting the interior of Rhodes with its chalky mountains and traditional villages.

In Rhodes – history comes to life in every backstreet of the medieval old town. The City of Rhodes was declared a World Heritage site. The Colossul of Rhodes, a giant bronze statue, is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and it was once standing on the harbour of the ancient city.

Greece has always been one of my favourite places to visit with its cloud free blue skies and the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea. When you throw in the Atrium Platinum hotel, it’s basically a dream come true for me.

The Atrium Hotels brand offers three resorts in different parts of the island and it’s a privately-owned hotel chain in Rhodes. They’re well known for their state of the art facilities, personalised services, exclusive luxury décor and fine hospitality within sumptuously designed buildings.

Every time we go back to Rhodes we stay at the Atrium Platinum Luxury Resort Hotel and Spa located on the Northern tip of Rhodes, nestled in a pristine cove of Ixia Bay.

The hotel offers spectacular views looking over the west coast and an outstanding range of accommodation.

It combines the cosmopolitan atmosphere of a 5 star city hotel with the unrivalled charm of a seafront resort. It also brilliantly set in close proximity to Rhodes International Airport (RHO) and the commercial port.

If you are a foodie like myself, there is a selection of restaurants and shops nearby and the hotel is just 4 km away from the island’s Medieval "Old Town" designated as a World Heritage site.

Though we’ve been to the Atrium many times, somehow every visit is unique and the hotel never fails to impress us in a new and amazing way. As soon as you walk through the front door, you are met with the lavishly decorated foyer, a warm welcome from the staff, and a great selection of services and amenities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Offering a multitude of accommodation options, the Atrium Platinum Luxury Resort Hotel & Spa lures guests into a realm of relaxation, rejuvenation and indulgence.

All luxury rooms and sea view suites are beautifully designed and fitted with chic furniture and contemporary comforts to ensure an amazing stay beyond comparison at one of the best hotels in Ixia Rhodes. The floor to ceiling windows in all rooms offer amazing views to the sea and sunset.

Atrium Platinum encapsulates the essence of premium living with each of the stunning guest bedrooms decked out with stylish furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows to make the room airy, spacious, and bright.

All sea view rooms and seafront suites benefits from either a terrace, a balcony or a private pool to enjoy the Greek sunshine and sumptuous surroundings that you find yourself in.

Greek cuisine is sought after across the world and I can’t imagine a trip to Rhodes without sampling the local dishes.

The restaurant with its chic ambiance and stylish design offers a buffet breakfast, lunch and a dinner, waiter service and let’s not forget about the magnificent views out on to the sea front.

Named after the luxury non-fading dye used by Greeks to colour ceremonial robes, this rooftop restaurant offers a colourful palette of authentic gourmet Greek and international cuisine and views that amaze!

Inspired by Asian cuisine and culture, with an extensive dinner menu and unobstructed sea view.

Fantastic Al fresco Greek dining experience by the poolside, named after the Greek word for olive.
